Not when applied with proper technique and care. Each of your natural eyelashes grows at its own unique pace through an ongoing growth cycle. At TALL & GREAT, we isolate each lash individually and custom-match the extension’s weight to its strength—allowing each lash to grow freely at its natural speed without unnecessary strain on the follicle. When a mature lash completes its lifecycle and sheds naturally, the extension simply sheds with it, making room for new growth.
A full set typically lasts 4 to 6 weeks, following your natural eyelash shedding cycle (we naturally shed 3–5 lashes per eye daily). To keep your set looking full, neat, and symmetrical, we recommend booking a routine touch-up every 2 to 3 weeks (or 4 weeks for Double Sets).
Classic extensions use traditional professional adhesive that requires approximately 24 hours to cure completely. We advise keeping your eyes completely dry and avoiding steam, saunas, swimming, and heavy workouts for the first 24 hours to secure optimal retention.
Classic extensions provide rich, effortless definition that eliminates the need for mascara. We recommend avoiding mascara entirely, as it clumps extensions and weakens adhesive during removal. Oil-free eyeliner and eyeshadow are fine, provided they are gently cleansed with an oil-free lash foam.
Full Set (Up to 80 Lashes Per Eye) offers soft everyday enhancement. Extra Full (Up to 100 Lashes Per Eye) provides richer definition, while Double Set (Up to 130 Lashes Per Eye) delivers maximum density. Note that the final look may vary depending on your natural lash density, eye shape, and customized design.
Yes! We regularly work with clients who wear contacts or have sensitive eyes. We recommend removing contacts before your service. Our premium adhesives never touch your eyelid skin, and our artists maintain gentle, non-irritating application techniques throughout the appointment.
